Pak Widana not only experienced in diving but also has a good or may I say the best knowledge about underwater creature. Take my Open Water Course with him and it's very enjoyable, lot's of fun and had time flexibility. Will never forget my course teach by Mr. Widana. Very very very recommended, two thumbs up.
I went on an open water course with pak wi. Verdict: I felt safe, cared for and taken care of. This kinda care and responsibility given by pak widana went beyond the duty of an instructor's responsibility. This guys really know how to spot!We asked for a seahorse and a frogfish and saw 4 of them in different colours!!! As you know, you have to be lucky too, but still they have a very good knowledge about which animal you can find on different plants, corals,or anemones. The owner, is a very kind person, hes a Makro photographer, too.I can highly recommend them!Stefanie(DM)+Janine
The best dive Guru (no wonder they call him Godfather of Macro Diving) and one of the best dive team in Bali. Highly experienced ,knowledgeable in scuba diving training and underwater photography , professional, humble , friendly, flexible always accomodating guest,and kind and joyful in teaching and sharing knowledge.Pak Wi, his wife and the whole team treat you just like a family.You be a better diver , a better underwater photographer with their team.
I highly recommend this place. Mr.Widana's shop looks small, but quite well organised and he's really a professional local instructor with many years of experience. He offered open water course with reasonable price to my children and led them gently till the last mement. My kids really loved his teaching and beautiful underwater. Widana dive service is owned and operated by Mr. Widana who is a very experienced dive guide. I highly recommend him over any other dive companies if you can book him. Call the shop directly to make a booking as our email didn't reach him.
An outstanding dive center. This is the BEST place to learn underwater macro photography. Bapak Widana & team have vast knowledge and I'm very grateful to be able to learn from them. They run the dive center professionally with their passion & love for the ocean. Diving with the godfather of Indonesian super macro underwater photography!I had an awesome 3 days of diving with Pak Widana and Ahmed, and I learnt so much about supermacro underwater photography! These guys are the absolute masters of spotting beautiful tiny little critters underwater, and then taking the most beautiful shots of them. Thanks so much guys, you're the best!While you shouldn't expect a 5 star divecentre with a training pool, the facilities are good, if simple, and the smiles and service can't be equalled. Pak Widana even lent me his macro lens so that I could stack them on mind to get a better pic of super tiny critters.
Best local dive center in padang bay. The place to learn diving and underwater photography
Better than the PADI/larger corporations as it is a family run company and care more about your experience for a cheaper price.The owner is really nice and the instructors make sure you go to the best dive sites in Padang Bai/other locations.Also seemed to have a longer dive time than normal which is a bonus.
Widana is one of the master for me. He have really good service and his family are really friendly. The best dive operator that I ever come in Padang bay.
